When Life Hands You Corn on the Cob, Make Popcorn?

During our off-roading adventure through the corn maze, my roommate took an ear of corn to commemorate the occasion... and in hopes of making popcorn "the old-fashioned" way. Though the first attempt was a bit of a failure, she is still determined to succeed... Subsequent ventures in popping corn will be documented!

And darkness begins to fall...

Final Vote Count: Stay on the Trail- 1  Wander through the Stalks toward Supposed Civilization- 5 ... and so begins the real adventure!

The First Lady's Inaugural Ball Gown

I really liked the reflection of the Washington Monument and the stark contrast of the Capitol and Monument to the trees.

Though the Institute of Peace presents an interesting shape, I think I like the photo better in color when taking it at sunset.
