Week 7 - Post 3

Better depiction of a "D"
Admittedly, this was originally supposed to be a D, but ended up just looking interesting.  Who knew water grates were this aesthetically pleasing?

Week 7 - Post 2

I attempted to photography the intricate spider web in front of the metal, but was obviously unsuccessful in my attempt...
As many times as I have visited the WWII memorial, I have never looked up until my most recent trip... Turns out there is really something pretty awesome up there.

Week 7 - Post 1

Some type of plant... Can no longer recall its name, but thought its structure was intriguing... So I tried it in black and white.

When Life Hands You Corn on the Cob, Make Popcorn?

During our off-roading adventure through the corn maze, my roommate took an ear of corn to commemorate the occasion... and in hopes of making popcorn "the old-fashioned" way. Though the first attempt was a bit of a failure, she is still determined to succeed... Subsequent ventures in popping corn will be documented!

Corn Maze: Easy in Theory, Much More Challenging in Reality

B/W Assignment: Experimenting without Color

The First Lady's Inaugural Ball Gown

I really liked the reflection of the Washington Monument and the stark contrast of the Capitol and Monument to the trees.

Though the Institute of Peace presents an interesting shape, I think I like the photo better in color when taking it at sunset.
